ZAG continues its expansion in Latin America with the opening of its first office in the region, based out of Mexico City
The new office - helmed by Betsabe Luna Gonzalez, who joined the company in May of this year as director of retail and licensing for Mexico and Central America - will spearhead licensing and merchandising in Latin America for the ZAG Heroez brand, which includes Miraculous and Ghostforce.
Gonzalez is tasked with expanding the company’s brands, appointing new licensing partners, and working with licensees, retailers, and promotional partners to implement retail strategy that will increase market share visibility and shelf-space, as well as establish cross-campaign partners in the region. She will report to Angela Cortez, ZAG’s VP of consumer products for Latin America.
Also joining the team are Rosalba Flores - a former executive from Tycoon, Viacom, and Warner Bros. Mexico - as category manager, and Rebeca Thomann as creative designer, reporting to Marifely Argüello Montealegre who was recently appointed vice president of product development for the U.S. and Latin America.
