Spielwarenmesse Podcast with the TrendCommittee

Each year, the international TrendCommittee for the Spielwarenmesse identifies three ToyTrends that offer guidance to retailers in their range selection. How they scout out these trends is explained in the latest edition of the Spielwarenmesse Podcast. The guests this time are three members of the TrendCommittee: John Baulch from Great Britain, publisher of Toy World Magazine, and two market researchers, Clara Blasco from Spain and Axel Dammler from Germany.

Tickets to consumers on sale: Spielwarenmesse opens up Model Railways and Model Construction hall for weekend

For 72 years, the Spielwarenmesse has held a distinct fascination for young and old. The organiser, together with well-known firms from the model railways and model construction sector, is now giving interested consumers, too, the opportunity to experience the ‘Spirit of Play’ live, in Hall 7A of the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre.

Toy Business Forum – inspiring retail knowledge at the Spielwarenmesse

At the beginning of February, the Spielwarenmesse will at last be bringing the entire sector back together again and presenting the latest trends, products and topics. The familiar presentation area in Hall 3A offers further added value: in the Toy Business Forum, the audience can look forward to 18 international speakers with 21 exciting presentations on trends in toys and in retailing, digitalisation and the metaverse, not to mention sustainability and diversity. The presentations are given every day between 1 pm and 3 pm. The final event each day will be the presentations on the Spielwarenmesse ToyTrends.

Ticket sales open for Spielwarenmesse

Tickets for the 2023 Spielwarenmesse go on sale on 16 November. Trade visitors will then be able to secure their access to the industry’s world-beating event, for which exhibitors from 66 different countries have already registered. From 1 to 5 February, the Spirit of Play will be brought to life at the Nuremberg exhibition centre. ToyTrends and new ideas for the forthcoming season, innovative startups and well-known brands, the sharing of expertise in the field of toys – these will be the source of opportunities for inspiration all across the market.

Specials by Spielwarenmesse – inspiration and information

At the start of the year, the Spielwarenmesse is the place to be for the international industry. Between 1 and 5 February at the exhibition centre, retailers can discover a multitude of trends and innovations for the new financial year. The Specials by Spielwarenmesse, topic- and target group-specific special areas, help visitors find their way around, provide information and offer sources of new inspiration and ideas.
